Ontem, nosso General Manager no Brasil, Fábio Bortoluzo, participou ao lado de Ricardo Tili, Diretor da Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica - ANEEL, e de representantes do setor privado, Ana Carolina Katlauskas Calil e Marcelo Xavier, do evento do GRI Club sobre Armazenamento de Energia e a importância da regulação para destravar investimentos no setor. Durante o encontro, as discussões permearam o processo de construção da regulamentação da ANEEL e os principais pontos que precisam ser considerados para viabilizar investimentos em BESS no Brasil. Reforçamos o otimismo da Atlas frente às oportunidades do País e seus excelentes recursos renováveis. Também acreditamos que com nossa experiência internacional, especialmente no Chile, temos aprendizados relevantes que podem ser aplicados no Brasil e impulsionar o avanço do tema. Esta semana recebemos o CEO da Hydro Rein, Olivier Girardot e a Country Manager do Brasil Marcela Jacob, MBA, MSc em uma visita ao projeto Vista Alegre, um dos maiores parques fotovoltaicos do Brasil, onde atuamos como sócios. Além de conhecer de perto a operação da planta, a equipe também acompanhou alguns resultados do projeto social Energizar para Transformar, que integra nosso compromisso com o desenvolvimento das comunidades do entorno. Durante a visita, apresentamos o trabalho de revitalização de poços artesianos com bombeamento de água movido a energia solar. Uma ação que impacta diretamente o uso produtivo da água por famílias agricultoras da região.
