I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a remarkable event hosted by Silversea Cruises at Kingston Family Vineyards, where I work. It was an unforgettable experience combining world-class hospitality, exceptional wine, and meaningful connections. This event gathered 200 amazing guests, and I was honored to be one of the hosts. Welcoming Silversea’s distinguished visitors to our vineyard was truly special. Sharing our ion for winemaking and the beauty of Casablanca Valley while engaging with professionals from the luxury cruise industry was both inspiring and enriching. This experience reminded me of the importance of creating authentic, memorable moments — something both tourism and hospitality thrive on. I’m grateful to be part of a team and a place that values quality, warmth, and excellence. A big thank you to Silversea Cruises and everyone involved for making this event so extraordinary. My unforgettable time in Chile has officially come to an end🇨🇱 Thanks to the University of Oregon’s GEO Abroad program, I was able to attend a UO faculty-led program in which I studied Advertising and Public Relations of the South American Wine Industry in Viña Del Mar, Chile. For six weeks, I worked with 12 other University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication students to research this unique market through campaign development for Kingston Family Vineyards of the Casablanca Valley. In the entirety of our time here, we conducted market research, creative production, strategy development and presented a final campaign to increase customer traffic of Kingston Family Vineyard’s tasting experience and Old Corral Wine Club through the improvement of the brand’s digital platforms. We were advised by our professor, Christopher Chavez, PhD, who we can thank for success of our two courses and final campaign. There was never a dull moment in the entirety of our time here. Our program organizers were sure to pack our schedule full of day trips to places such as El Mercurio Newspaper headquarters, DAf Advertising Agency office and the Chilean Presidential Palace, alongside three individual visits to Kingston Family Vineyards. I was also able to spend several weekends traveling to the cities of Pucón, La Serena and Santiago with some amazing friends. I leave Chile in complete awe of this beautiful country and its culture. Rather than staying in a campus dorm, our program required a host stay with a local Chilean family. I am indebted to my family, the Toledos, for their kindness and generosity. I am so grateful to have been a part of this experience. Chile will always have a special place in my heart!

This past Thursday, a few Kingston Family Vineyard team went to the American embassy in Santiago for an early celebration of the 4th of July. ✨ There were no fireworks; instead, alongside Barbie and Indian Motorcycle, we served our award-winning wine to numerous expats and fellow Chileans, a testament to our commitment to being a decidedly Chilean-American brand.
