At Torres del Paine National Park, as in many places around the world, bees play a silent yet fundamental role in ecosystems, helping maintain the balance of native flora that sustains iconic landscapes like Patagonia. Bees’ work s the life cycle of numerous species and reminds us how interconnected everything in nature is. Each year, on May 20, we celebrate #WorldBeeDay to acknowledge the vital contribution of these small pollinators to biodiversity conservation. At Las Torres Patagonia, we protect bees by avoiding pesticides in our vegetable garden, preserving wildflowers and educating people about their ecological importance. Today, we honor these small allies, essential for the park to thrive and inspire future generations.

On World Recycling Day, we reaffirm our commitment to a circular economy by transforming materials that have completed their initial cycle to give them a new life. One example is Pionero Bar, which reflects Las Torres Patagonia's commitment to sustainability. Last season, it collected 872.32 kg of bottle waste—approximately 4,154 units—from which it created over 500 eco-glasses. This type of initiative prevents tons of waste from ending up in landfills, showing that every small gesture can lead to a significant step toward a more responsible, planet-conscious future.
