2025: There is a major shift happening in startups. 1. The entry barriers of products creation are getting lower and lower; 2. This creates a new wave of AI-Native businesses that ship FAST; 3. But as they are multiplying, the amount of audience attention isn't growing. This creates a new context: - It's easier to build products. - It's harder to build audiences. (Honestly, it has always been a bit true. Acquiring the first 100 s has always been the true bottleneck for products. But it's now more obvious.) In this new context, here's what going to happen IMO: - Content creation will be increasingly competitive: the only way to stand out is to create unique content (proprietary insights, unique POV, formatting) - People who know how to build audiences will win big: sponsorships, equity, advisory, or even becoming a board member. - There will be a new definition of what is "marketing": less time on ops (automated anyway) and more time on content + audiences. - Startups will hire full-stack AI marketers who can match the speed of AI product development.
