Food loss and food waste are a serious world problem, which can be identified at the various stages of the food chain. In domestic consumption, this issue has its own complexity, combining quantitative aspects – such as quantity planning – and subjective and qualitative ones – such as the pleasure of eating well.

The paper aims to report the process of developing a prototype of an application to assist in reducing household food waste based on a -centered approach.
