    More than 70% of Brazilians have never visited a museum. A common response when questioned further: “art just don’t speak to me.” For the average Brazilian museums and art in general can be intimidating, foreign, and hard to understand.
    IBM Brazil, Ogilvy and Pinacoteca de São Paulo, the city oldest museum, wanted to change this. Our idea was based on using Watson artificial intelligence capabilities to transform a museum experience, making it more inviting, engaging and interactive, helping museums drive greater attendance and attract new audiences. After months of prototyping, crowd sourced testing, Watson learning with thousands of IBM employees and using the month of March to ensure the experience would be perfect, our partnership with the prestigious Pinacoteca museum went live on April 5th 2017. Museum visitors can now ask questions directly to select pieces, in the way they feel comfortable.
    In the week of it’s launch, the project received media coverage of more than 50 media channels, including a long coverage by Fantastico (https://glo.bo/2nxtdlw), a prime open TV show from Globo, similar to CBS 60 Minutes in United States.

    To promote the accessibility of its artificial intelligence platform, IBM Watson, to the developer audience, we partnered with Jovem Nerd, of Brazil’s most popular geek influencer to develop two programs with content co-created with the use of Watson.     Despite it’s constant evolution, IBM is still seen in Brazil as a big company for big clients.
    To promote the accessibility of its artificial intelligence platform, IBM Watson, to the developer audience, we partnered with Jovem Nerd, of Brazil’s most popular geek influencer to develop two programs with content co-created with the use of Watson. In one program we took advantage of the Suicide Squad movie launch and made Watson analyze and compare the Joker character of this movie with the one’s from the past. In the other show, Watson analyzed the most popular artificial intelligences from movies like Blade Runner, The Avengers – Age of Ultron, Her and 2001 a Space Odyssey. Both shows had more than 625k organic views and 98.5% positive evaluation while the Watson subscriptions at IBM Bluemix platform, increased by 300%.

    When startups need to change its business model, product or offer, it must have the ability to do it quickly and to do it cheap.
    In order to prove that IBM’s Cloud Computing platform have the agility and the ability to generate revenue, we made money rain during Campus Party São Paulo, the biggest geek event in the world.
    By developing a solution with IBM Cloud Computing platform, we distributed USD 50k in Bitcoins for the attendees of the event.
