How can you identify the root causes of customer churn with root cause analysis?
In a given period, it is expected that some percentage of customers will stop purchasing products or services - each company has its own maximum churn limit or objective. Each time this limit is exceeded, a careful analysis of the causes must be carried out. Root cause analysis, a wide range of approaches, methods, tools and techniques used to find causes of problems or deviations, can be used to find the main causes of churn. In general, root cause analysis consists of the following steps: 1. identify and define the problem; 2. collect and analyze data; 3. identify possible causes; 4. validate real root causes; 5. propose a solution to the problem; 6. deploy the solution; 7. analyze the results.

How can you use standardization to improve lean manufacturing?
Standardization work has been widely used in manufacturing and its application has brought positive results in of quality, productivity and process stability. In the past, Henry Ford took enormous advantage of the standardization of parts and components, for example, and allowed mass production to flourish. Standardized work is essential to operationalize continuous flow, one of the principles of Lean Manufacturing. Through standardized work it is possible to know the details of processes, tasks and operations, understanding them in of man-hours and necessary resources. It facilitates the supervision process, as there is a clear definition of the sequence of tasks, results can be predicted and times can be actively managed.
