    Together with Franco Mazzitellti we started "Putting Down Roots" a project to help kids in an underdeveloped neighborhood of very low incomes in Rio Negro, Argentina. We decided to make an orchard at El Merendero: a youngsters meeting place for studying, playing, and having their daily glass of milk. Seeing the results only after working extremely hard was our main goal: assessing the final output after effort, work and consistence.

    As a requirement for the IB Diploma (International Baccalaureate) we got involved in different activities in state schools, nursing homes, fund-raising, and underpriviliged neighbourhoods. We also helped organizations collect school materials, clothes and other vital goods when natural disasters struk.

    A six-weeks academic program were I learnt, together with 19 other students from Latin America, about social entrepreneurship, American history, culture and politics by attending classes at different institutions like Amherst College, Institute for Traning and Development, The University of Arizona and Harvard University. It also helped me develop leadership skills by doing community service, interacting with American peers and business visits. It was a life-changing experience.

    As a result of my hard work and grades in my last years of high school I was awarded a partial grant for college. I could mantain the grant during my four years of undergraduate program by keeping a high average score.
