    In this paper, we investigate how to assess technologies to be licensed out. To this end, we propose an approach that enables large corporations to scrutinize their portfolio of technologies in order to establish values ranges to a negotiation process. We conclude by highlighting pros and cons of our approach, its potential generalization to other companies, and how it can be used to indicate value drivers to gear the R&D strategy.
