How can you design engaging and interactive websites?
For me it is all about deeply understanding needs and the overall scope of problem being solved. After this research is conducted and points are identified, then it translates to any UI. Even though there is an entire area of expertise that studies precisely this, often called Research, it still belongs to interface design at large and that requires having needs at the core.
