«I worked with Ignacio for eight years, from when we first hired him at Flaptor, where we did consulting work focused on search, through our transition into a startup (IndexTank) which was later acquired by LinkedIn, to building the LinkedIn Buenos Aires Engineering office and then moving with the whole team to Dublin and building LinkedIn's European Engineering center. He's among the very best engineers any company could aspire to hire, with a deep understanding of engineering problems and the ability to quickly architect high-quality solutions. He establishes very strong and durable relationships with peers and stakeholders, from SREs and DBAs to execs and customers. He was one of the main reasons IndexTank was well regarded by our customers thanks to his great communication skills when providing advice and . He is always the soul of the team, with his perennial good humor, great people skills, solid ethics and deep technical knowledge. People gravitate around him for good reason. I truly hope to be able to work with him again in the future.»
