«It was a pleasure to work with Jean. I had the opportunity to have Jean as a customer at Natura and both of us working at the same company at Questrade. I started to draft my recommendation talking about his technical competence, but other recommendations talked better about it than I would do, so I will highlight his ethic. And a case in Natura better illustrates it. Jean was working at Natura and I was working at Vizir. Jean was involved in bringing new providers to Natura, providers that could increase the quality of the code and of the deliverables. He had to onboard, provide information and for different providers and Vizir was one of them. And he also needed to guarantee that we followed the desired architecture and good code practices. It is easy to say, but hard to do. Jean and his team had to orchestrate different providers interacting in the same project and Jean was committed to that, and he helped a lot. But sometimes, we were working on a quotation or estimate, he would do his best to provide the same information for all the possible providers involved. If something new appears during the conversation with a provider, he warns the others. If one provider is complaining about another provider or about Natura, he tries to create a fair discussion about it. Even during some conversation during happy hour or company event, at some time Jean would say that he was not comfortable to share some piece of information that could expose some other provider. And something to highlight is that he shared this sense of ethics together being fair and transparent about any problem, creating a very good environment to work.»
