Implementing Google's "Did you mean" Feature In Java

Search engine s often misspell search for a variety of reasons varying from keyboard problems (a key not working), to unfamiliar international names (for example Sigmund Freud), changing one letter accidentally (Sinpsons), or adding one more letter (Frusciaante). Google's search engine includes a feature now familiar to many web s - "Did you mean" - which provides alternative suggestions when you may have misspelled a search term.

CDN Up and Running
This project aims to build a body of knowledge on how CDNs work by coding one from "scratch". The CDN we will design uses: nginx, lua, docker, docker-compose, Prometheus, grafana, and wrk.
We'll create a single backend service and expand to a multi-node, latency-simulated, observable, and testable CDN. In each section, there are discussions regarding the challenges and trade-offs of building/managing/operating a CDN.

A gentle introduction to video technology translated into many languages. Although it's aimed at software developers/engineers, I made it easy for anyone to learn. The goal is to introduce digital video concepts with a simple vocabulary, many visual elements, and practical examples when possible and make this knowledge available everywhere.

Live Streaming Rio 2016 Olympic Games

The live streaming infrastructure for Rio 2016 Olympics Games. We used around 5.5 TB of memory with 1056 Us across two PoP’s located on the southeast of the country. The broadcaster input the signal through RTMP and it's transformed to HLS streaming which is stored at a Cassandra Cluster and then a lua+Nginx was used to serve and cache the content.
