As students enrolled in the subject Computer Compilers II, we have to develop an entire compiler in JAVA to parse a brand new grammar which was also created by us.
The teacher provided us a boiler plate for the project with an automated tester system to cover all use cases possible to test the compiler and also generates the project mark automatically. It was a really challenging project because we needed to study all the theory behind how a compiler works and produce one by ourselves.
