What challenges do you face in product management?
I believe that flexibility is fundamental in managing scope and resources. Product managers are typically planning requirements in a much earlier stage of development and often is during development (high level/low level designs) that the easiness or hardship of certain requirements will surface. Having a strong relationship with tech teams and a basic understanding of what systems do what makes a huge difference in my experience. Another thing that helps a lot is keeping track of planned vs realized in of scope and resources so that you can incorporate lessons learned moving forward.

What do you do if your team have conflicting opinions on a project?
Ray Dalio has a concept of "believability" which after learning, I try to employ as much as I can while listening to conflicts. Think of a vase half blue, half red. While one person in one side arguments it's red (correctly), the other on the other side will argument it's blue (correctly). Only the person with the full picture can attest to the fact it's half/half. When listening, try to identify what is the other half that is missing in the perspective of both sides. This usually helps a lot in finding the best path forward.

What do you do if your business partners have conflicting visions?
Humility is one of the most underestimated traits when aligning visions. Acknowledging that both visions might be single sided helps drive a constructive discussion, specially if both parties are willing to change opinions. What is this business counterpart seeing that I can’t? What can I learn from it?
