    The expansion of paper mill in Tres Barras (SC, Brazil) required the expansion of local network and telephony, and the installation of cameras. This project was an initiative from MWV team from United States my responsibility was to manage the IT work. It took 2 years to be completed.

My responsiblity was to manage the implementation contracting the vendor to develop the new screens and reports and arising information from s.     This project approach was to remove the mainframe from the company datacenter and install it at IBM Datacenter. This strategy was needed to keep mainframe and SAP installed in the same physical place to warranty better information exchange between both system. The duration of this project was 3 months.

    Replacement of 14 servers distributed in seven different plants in Brazil and updating of Windows/NT version to Windows2003. This project had budget approval by demonstrating savings with maintenance costs cost and had the duration of 4 months and it was saved about 30% of monthly cost.

    The objective of this project was to remove servers from the company datacenter to the datacenter of BT installed in Hortolândia, SP (IBM Techtown). This strategy was needed to the change of WAN strategy in which the central WAN node was relocated to BT. It allowed better performance for all plants and savings of 20% with datacenter infrastructure.

During this project it was also installed MasterSAF (legal application) and my responsibility was to define the servers and telecom infrastructure. This project had the duration of 2 years.

    Case study for local network equipments replacement (switches and routers) that involved three competitors. During the period it was evaluated the main features of equipments and the result of this case study was a report with the recommendation. The recommendation was followed and implemented in the next year.
