    In October, 2014 I started volunteering at the Furry Friends as a way to make some difference. Even knowing that I wouldn't change the world nor could save all the cats in need in the shelter, I realized that it was my obligation as a human to care and help the animals, as much as I could possibly do. I knew that it wasn't enough and I still know that maybe it will never be enough, but no matter what, I must keep doing whatever I can to make a difference.

    This opportunity was a blessing…

    In October, 2014 I started volunteering at the Furry Friends as a way to make some difference. Even knowing that I wouldn't change the world nor could save all the cats in need in the shelter, I realized that it was my obligation as a human to care and help the animals, as much as I could possibly do. I knew that it wasn't enough and I still know that maybe it will never be enough, but no matter what, I must keep doing whatever I can to make a difference.

    This opportunity was a blessing and I can proudly say that more than making the cats' lives better, they certainly made my life better and they got my eternal gratitude, my iration and my oath to always do what I can to help them.

    It was a culinary competition created by the magazine Go'Where Gastronomia between all Brazilian's culinary universities divided by main ingredients. I got the first place of all participants from my university and the third place general in the category of "Best Pork Recipes".
