Who are we?
At Embeddable, you can expect a very fast pace, ambitious goals and career-defining work. This is not your regular office job - we're looking for people who will live this product and give their best every day. This is just your default, without needing to be pushed.
We launched in December 2023 and are already taking the developer world by storm! Like how Stripe enables developers to add payments to their platform and Unity enables you to build world-class games, Embeddable is the end-to-end developer platform for building seamless, lightning-fast customer-facing analytics directly into your product.
As a developer, adding a couple of charts to your online platform is easy. Scaling analytics to tens of thousands of end-s, who all have differing data needs and data questions, is a hard problem. Embeddable gives you the infrastructure and tools to rapidly build out your interactive in-product analytics in days, not months, and empowers your team to iterate on your analytics at the pace your customers need.
Our 3 core personas are:
Front-end (React.js) developers using our SDK to build beautifully interactive analytical experiences.
Data teams building (SQL-based) data models for powering their single-source-of-truth.
End s (typically non-technical) who are interacting with the analytical experiences and building out their own custom dashboards in our customers’ platforms.
…and it’s our goal to make sure all of them have delightful experiences!
At Embeddable we’re not just building a platform; we’re also building a community of superstars who are driven by curiosity, innovation, and the desire to explore, experiment, and create products and experiences that defy the ordinary.
Aaaaand we received a €6m seed funding round in December 2024 (Tech.eu announcement) and are so excited to embark on this new stage of growth where the possibilities are endless!
Please note that this role has been posted in anticipation of future need at the end of Q3***
🧑💼 Who are you?
Our customers range from early-stage startups to large product teams, and they rely on us for both power and ease-of-use. That means our experience needs to meet the same high bar — especially when it comes to helping data teams succeed.
We’ve already hired a rockstar Customer Success Engineer who focuses on front-end questions and SDK . Now, we’re looking for a data-savvy counterpart: someone who can help our customers make the most of our semantic layer, guide them through tricky SQL or modelling questions, and create great resources that level up the whole community.
Read on if that sounds like your kind of role...
🔮 The magic you’ll perform
You will…
Work directly with data teams using our semantic layer (Cube.dev) to model their data and power customer-facing dashboards
both technical and non-technical s: from Git-loving data engineers to UI-first data analysts
Troubleshoot SQL, modeling, or schema-related issues — often via chat or async in our community
Help customers understand best practices for using a semantic layer in production
Contribute to and improve documentation, guides, and examples to make more self-serve over time
Act as a bridge between customer needs and our product/engineering team, spotting trends and surfacing insights
🤸♂️ What You Already Have
Hard skills:
Strong SQL chops — you’ve written and debugged complex queries in the wild
Solid understanding of modern data stacks (data modeling, warehouses, dbt or Cube.dev, etc.)
Familiarity with version control (Git) and working in code-first environments
Experience ing external s or customers in a technical domain
Comfort creating technical documentation or training materials
Soft skills:
Excellent communicator — especially in async, written formats like chat or docs
Empathy for s at different technical levels, and the ability to meet them where they are
Bias for action — you're happy to jump in and help, even when the problem isn’t fully scoped
Strong collaborator who thrives in a cross-functional, remote-first team
🌟 Bonus points if you have:
Experience working with a semantic layer like Cube, dbt Semantic Layer, or LookML
Contributions to open source, blog posts, or other public-facing educational content
