A bit more about this role:
The Marketplace Manager will own the strategy, execution, and financial performance of our key third-party marketplace channels. Sitting at the intersection of external platform partnerships and internal teams, you will develop and implement strategies to optimize sales, visibility, and operational excellence. You will operate in an entrepreneurial environment, constantly seeking insights into customer needs and developing innovative ways to serve them better within the marketplace ecosystem and report to the Managing Director of B2B & Marketplace.
Eligibility Requirements
Education experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field
2-4+ years of professional experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, business analysis, category management, or a related role requiring strong analytical rigor and strategic thinking. Experience managing projects with measurable outcomes is crucial
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with essential proficiency in data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, large datasets) and proven ability to translate data into strategy and structure/analyze tests
Technical proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite, have access to high-speed home Wi-Fi, and be able to work effectively during US business hours.
Excellent professional communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) in English, capable of building relationships, collaborating effectively across teams, influencing stakeholders, and engaging professionally with external partners
Responsibilities will include:
Manage the end-to-end P&L for designated marketplace channels (Amazon, Walmart, eBay), taking full ownership of achieving ambitious revenue and profitability targets, developing forecasts/budgets, analyzing performance, and justifying resource needs based on ROI
Serve as the primary relationship owner for managers at Amazon, Walmart, and eBay, representing the company professionally with presentations and data, pursuing new opportunities, and managing follow-ups
Design, implement, meticulously track, and analyze price testing plans across marketplaces to optimize revenue and margin, documenting learnings and informing scalable pricing strategies based on data and competitive monitoring
Develop and execute comprehensive marketplace growth strategies, generating creative solutions to overcome platform limitations (especially for tires), and staying informed on trends and competitor actions
Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate closely with Customer Service, Operations, Data, and Catalog Management teams to ensure seamless execution, operational alignment, and effective internal communication
Own key marketplace operational metrics (e.g., ODR, VTR, shipping performance, scores), ensure compliance, and proactively work with internal teams to address issues and implement preventative measures
Analyze large datasets related to sales, traffic, conversion, advertising, and customer behavior to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and develop regular performance reports for stakeholders
Coordinate regular audits of product listings for accuracy, completeness, and optimization opportunities (titles, keywords, descriptions, images)
Perform intra-day monitoring of sales velocity and operational performance, addressing issues promptly

Experience with marketplace advertising platforms (e.g., Amazon Advertising/PPC, Walmart Connect)
Familiarity with e-commerce analytics tools or data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience in the automotive parts or tire industry
