Python Developer at BairesDev
We are looking for a Python Developer with 5+ years of experience to develop scalable, event-driven backend systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python and FastAPI (or Flask/Django) and a strong background in microservice architecture and event-driven systems. This role is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven developer eager to take on challenges in a fast-paced startup healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI (or Flask/Django).
- Design and implement event-driven systems and microservice-based architectures.
- Leverage Google Cloud Platform (G) to deploy and manage backend applications efficiently.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and streamline deployment processes.
- Process and analyze large datasets, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain high standards for code quality and automation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative healthcare solutions.
- Contribute to system scalability and architecture decisions, ensuring long-term maintainability.
What We Are Looking For:
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with Python.
- Strong expertise in FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Advanced level of English.
Important Skills:
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (G).
- Strong understanding of Docker and containerized environments.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven systems and microservice architecture.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Trainable):
- Experience deg scalable architectures.
- Familiarity with healthcare technologies (Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, glucose monitors).
- Start-up experience or an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
- Experience managing, processing, and analyzing large datasets.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
