In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, engineering, and installation of building envelope systems and curtain walls using Revit. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards. As a Building Envelope/ Curtain Wall Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from office buildings and healthcare facilities to educational institutions and residential complexes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering drafting and design of building envelope systems and curtain walls using Revit, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and efficient solutions for building envelope construction
• Review and evaluate contractor proposals and bids, making recommendations based on technical specifications and project requirements
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with project managers to address any challenges or delays
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in building envelope technology, incorporating new methodologies and best practices into project designs
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building envelope design and engineering, with a focus on curtain walls
• Expertise in Revit software for building envelope design
• Proficiency in other design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to building envelope systems and curtain walls
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
