Role Overview

Globant is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure and Kubernetes to our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge DevOps solutions and collaborate with top-tier professionals globally. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters for deploying applications and services.
• Ensure system security by employing best practices in DevOps workflows and security protocols.
• Automate processes for application deployment and infrastructure management.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate DevOps methodologies into all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
• Contribute to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and assist in enhancing application efficiency.
  
  

Skills Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles with strong focus on cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Azure services and platforms.
• Comprehensive experience managing and orchestrating Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates.
• Solid scripting skills, including proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Fluency in English or proven communication skills in English (B2 or higher).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with additional cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (G).
• Knowledge in network configurations and security practices.
