What are we looking for?

Our office in Santiago is looking for a Senior Project Control Engineer to lead innovative solutions and deliver high-quality projects for our internal, existing, and new clients. This role will build and strengthen commercial awareness and take responsibility for coaching and technically developing the team.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Understand the project lifecycle and implement control processes and procedures as needed.
• Develop Master Project Programs for various mining clients.
• Experience in planning and control of engineering services.
• Experience in generating program documentation, such as Programming Bases.
• Analyze and review coherent critical paths.
• Autonomously generate programs with a logical sequence according to the scope of each program.
• Develop resource histograms.
• Estimate contingencies in generated programs, with a technical basis ing the corresponding value.
• Develop and experience in technical documentation, such as construction technical bases, BMP, use of resource-loaded data to develop staffing and accommodation requirements, procurement bid and award curves, engineering release curves, and construction installation curves, among others.
• Understand the importance of WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and its implementation.
  
  

What you will bring to the team:

• Professional degree in Industrial, Civil, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in Planning.
• Advanced proficiency in Dashboards; Excel, preferably Power BI.
• Knowledge and skills in Primavera (P6) and MS Project.
• Teamwork orientation, cooperation, and customer focus, understanding multicultural work.
• Customer service orientation.
• Problem-solving focus, with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience in project planning, WBS development, P6/MS Project reporting.
