The Team and Role

The Enterprise Applications & Analytics team is part of corporate IT and is responsible for ing, developing, managing and enhancing the set of enterprise applications which make up the platform that delivers Medallia's business processes. The group focuses on engagement with the lines of business to evolve and scale solutions to best fit Medallia's business needs. In addition, the group focuses on design, development and deployment of an enterprise decision system to provide enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow developer to our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions and applications within our organization. They will collaborate closely with HR, Sales Operations, Legal, Security, and IT stakeholders to ensure that our ServiceNow platform meets our ever evolving business requirements and enhances operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of core ServiceNow platform functionalities, strong development skills, and be a tenacious problem solver. They will also bring a quality-first mindset and are a true team player with unwavering integrity, who can easily transition between being a strategic advisor and being hands-on with delivering solutions.

The areas of focus will include a mix of ServiceNow created products (ITSM, HRSD, WSD, LSD, etc) and scoped apps both existing and new.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ServiceNow applications and modules, including custom solutions and integrations.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, collaborating on and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure the platform's stability, security, and performance by conducting regular code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases and leverage new features and functionality to enhance platform capabilities.
• Present work with confidence and persuasion and handle questions effectively from both technical and business stakeholders
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to strategic planning for the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop and implement catalog content, flows, and integrations to operationalize and automate business processes.
• Implement best practices for data management, security, and compliance within the ServiceNow platform.
• Manage end-to-end development of small and medium sized projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and configuration guides.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years experience deg, developing, implementing, and ing ServiceNow solutions including modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, IRM
• Demonstrated experience in developing custom applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional business process design and optimization
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and other web technologies
• Proficiency with integrating ServiceNow with external applications for process automation and data ingestion
• Demonstrated understanding of ServiceNow APIs, data models, ACLs, and security policies
• Experience with Virtual Agent and AI experiences
• Bachelor’s degree
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) are highly desirable
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and certifications such as ITIL Foundation
• Expertise in developing and ing reporting solutions with Platform Analytics and Performance Analytics
• Program / Project management expertise - consistently delivering projects and tasks on time and to specification
• Strong understanding and demonstration of the application of data governance principles
