We seek to invest in exceptional entrepreneurs whose purpose is to solve today’s greatest challenges. 3y1sr
Sobre nosotros 2m6x1o
We make long-term investments in mission-driven entrepreneurs, individuals who have a creative imagination and a radical vision of how the world should be. We are highly selective in who we invest in, focusing on a handful of entrepreneurs per year in order to dedicate our full energy and heart to helping them. We like to be artisans. We typically invest in companies that are generating revenues with attractive margins and/or unit economics and capital-efficient business models. We focus on Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds. We are prepared to invest up to US$ 5 million in each new investment and expect to continue investing in our portfolio companies in successive rounds. We are flexible on the mechanics. We can lead or participate. We primarily invest in companies based in Latin America, but we also back businesses led by Latin founders in other places like the US or Europe. We are purpose-driven investors. We seek to invest in companies and exceptional entrepreneurs who are on a mission to solve our biggest social and environmental challenges by building companies rooted in solid unit economics and long-term value creation. We believe people, teams, and culture are the ultimate competitive advantage of a company: attitude over talent.

30% of the world's population (2.6 billion people) are affected by accessibility needs, controlling $120 billion in annual travel spending. Yet 97% of travel content lacks meaningful accessibility information. That $120 billion represents spending despite massive barriers and poor service. The true market potential is likely far larger. I just published a new deep dive on Wheel the World, the company building the accessibility data layer for the travel industry. What started with co-founders Alvaro Silberstein and Camilo Navarro Bustos' mission to make Alvaro the first wheelchair to complete the W Trek in Patagonia has evolved into something much bigger. The problem they're solving: → ADA-compliant ≠ functionally accessible → Hotels document minor details such as thread counts but can't tell you if a wheelchair can reach the bathroom sink → Mainstream OTAs offer accessibility filters with zero verification Their solution: → 200+ verified data points per property → AI + LiDAR technology reducing mapping costs by 70% → 4,000 properties mapped across 80 destinations → B2B and B2C flywheel $6M projected revenue for 2025, 70% gross margins The most powerful insight is that they're not fixing hotels, they're fixing information. As our population ages, we're all headed toward having accessibility needs. This isn't a niche market; it's a preview of everyone's future needs. Read the full deep dive: https://lnkd.in/g-m-xn2W

High-impact entrepreneurs want to move the needle on Colombia’s GDP — and we’re in. This week in Bogotá, Endeavor Colombia launched #MEGA2030, an ambitious roap for the scaleups in its network to drive 8% of the country’s economic growth by the end of this decade. The vision? Turning high-impact entrepreneurship into an unofficial economic policy — one based on growth with purpose. With over $2 billion in revenue and 24,000 direct jobs, Endeavor companies like Rappi, Platzi, Habi, BOLD and Foodology Inc are already shaping Colombia’s economy. Now they’re aiming higher — scaling faster, reinvesting locally, and creating the multiplier effect we believe in. At Kayyak Ventures, we see Colombia as a rising force in Latin America’s innovation landscape. With a growing pool of exceptional founders, a resilient economy, and improving regulatory clarity, Colombia is fertile ground for bold, scalable ventures. More than 50% of our portfolio companies have operations in Colombia. Our conviction isn’t just driven by opportunity — it’s grounded in the vision, grit, and cross-border ambition of the entrepreneurs building there. We’re excited to keep backing those who are transforming industries and redefining what’s possible.
