The 9th edition of the Latin America GRI Real Estate just concluded on Wednesday (May 14th)! 🌎 Following a series of exclusive activities and experiences, key decision-makers in the Latam real estate sector came together in New York for 20 private roundtable discussions to explore major market opportunities across the region. Topics included global capital flows, high-potential asset classes, and other trends shaping the industry. The opening session focused on investment potential in Latin America and the region’s economic dynamics, with keynote speaker Eric Parrado, Chief Economist and General Manager of the Research Department at Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento, addressing political cycles, strategic positioning, and other key factors influencing the region’s global competitiveness. 🔹 Closed-door discussions followed, delving into various dimensions of the market, from regional strategies to sector-specific trends including sustainability and the rise of artificial intelligence. 🔹 Investment opportunities in countries such as Mexico, highlighted as a global epicenter, were examined, alongside updated outlooks for Brazil and the Andean Region. 🔹 Among the key asset classes discussed were hospitality, mixed-use developments, multifamily housing, retail centers, office buildings, branded residences, and logistics.
