What a privilege to meet such extraordinary human beings! Trying to change the world for good can be a deeply frustrating and challenging journey—but it also opens the door to connecting with the most inspiring folks. And ChangeNOW was exactly the kind of place where those meaningful encounters happen. This year, I had the privilege of spending time with the brilliant Marina Schmidt, discussing her mission to and “scale nerds”—something the deep tech world desperately needs. For Marina, this isn’t just a business model. It’s a mission. One she pursues with clarity, integrity, and zero compromise. I also found myself among the Nora Gherbi crowd—a uniquely inspiring group of senior leaders who are using their influence to push for environmental, social, and emotional transformation. Being part of that circle was both grounding and energizing. And thanks to Nora’s deep curiosity around love, I had the honor of spending time with Giles Duley MBE. Giles, you are one of the most inspiring—and intense—people I’ve ever met. Your work around Love and Conflict is matched only by your relentless devotion to driving impact in the most complex corners of the world. Thank you for sharing your stories with me. It’s been a few hours of nonstop action, and the energy here is incredible! This is shaping up to be a tremendous fair, and we’re excited for everything ahead.
