«In 2020, I started working with Priscilla, where she took on the role of senior developer within the team - a position she excelled in and was later promoted to software architect during her journey at BEES. I led Priscilla in the development of the Search platform, and despite all the challenges, we successfully delivered the service in under 2 months. Additionally, she played a crucial role in developing junior team , actively working to enhance their hard skills. I am incredibly proud to see how far Priscilla has come in her career, and as Priscilla continues to progress in her career, I have no doubt that she will continue to make significant contributions and leave a lasting legacy wherever she goes.»

You're at odds with your manager over data analysis conclusions. How do you find common ground?
To build a common understanding of data mismatches, I know that I should be transparent about the methods I use (also to double-check what was originally requested), rigorously validate my results, and align with the team/manager's goals. So, to better understand our point of disagreement, I should try to make sure we're aligned on the original request to avoid further misunderstandings; and from there, it's a case of 'where's the difference'.

How can software developers build strong relationships with their colleagues?
In my perspective collaboration is the key to success, and pair programming can be a great way to foster strong relationships between software developers. Talking to each other when you're creating new code builds those relationships, step by step. Personally, I've found that forcing social interactions often doesn't work for me, but discussing what we're ionate about naturally helps to build those connections. Therefore, I believe that engaging in conversations and gradually sharing knowledge about development, without pushing relationships, slowly builds strong bonds between coworkers. Being respectful, not rushing and understanding that each person has their own learning and processing speed is also fundamental.
