Promoting a sustainable and resilient future for all.
Sobre nosotros
The “ambition loop” is a positive loop in which bold government policies and private sector leadership reinforce each other, and together take sustainable action to the next level. Ambition Loop is a Chilean based non-for-profit dedicated to advancing systemic change to deliver against the SDGs. We believe in the power of bold collective goals, and in the need for generosity among partners to foster radical collaboration - there is more than enough work for all of us! We work on a small number of broad systemic topics such as plastics, food systems, climate finance and industrial transformation. Central to our vision is the steadfast commitment to the role of government, the importance of multilateral collaboration and the need to mobilise all actors to drive systems change, particularly the private sector, civil society, and sub-national governments. Ambition Loop is driven by a profound sense of responsibility towards the planet and its inhabitants. Our mission is to lead and inspire coordinated, transformative action on a small number of major challenges across climate change, biodiversity, plastics pollution, food systems, and water. We are dedicated to promoting a sustainable and resilient future for all. We understand that no one is in charge of systems transformation but we believe that diverse groups of change agents converging on shared bold goals and pathways have the power to innovate and inspire each other to achieve remarkable results.

It’s an honor to work alongside leaders like Peter J. Hall, whose clarity, integrity, and vision continue to elevate the climate finance conversation where it matters most. As Advisor at Ambition Loop, Peter consistently brings depth, precision, and urgency to the table, this time, chairing the opening session at Adapt Unbound in NYC, driving the call for faster, smarter, and more inclusive climate adaptation funding. His contribution is once again a reminder of how finance can be a force for resilience, equity, and transformation. #Adaptation #ClimateFinance #AmbitionLoop #LeadershipInAction #FinanceLoop #EarthInvestmentEngine

It was a privilege to chair the opening session at Adapt Unbound in NYC this week which promoted the urgent need, solutions, coalitions and funding required to drive climate action for adaptation to create resiliency. With the world already in a 1.5C world it is imperative that adaptation be funded, delivered and people + nature ed. The private sector will play a vital role in accelerating the capital required to transform adaptation for the global south. The insights of William Sisson and Laura Zizzo clearly show that the private sector will not wait on regulations and will continue this work to reduce risk, increase value and drive market position. As Paul Polman recently wrote on the need for corporate diplomatic officers who are clear on what lines they will not cross - it was optimistic to hear that corporations can, must and are staying on the climate action (sustainability, energy transition and adaptation) course of action and boldly leading in these times. At Ambition Loop, we believe in building collective ambition loops: virtuous cycles where leadership becomes collaboration, ideas become action, and the present becomes a launchpad for more just futures. Our #RulesofGame work and #EarthInvestmentEngine #FinanceLoop work will play a critical role in mobilizing the collective climate finance capital stack required to deliver action. Carolina A. Apparel Impact Institute 's leadership in accelerating decarbonization for Bangladesh’s apparel sector is exactly the kind of bold, actionable work our industry needs. Their latest collaboration with Development Finance International, Inc. provides a clear roap to cut emissions by 50% by 2030 — aligning ambition with on-the-ground solutions. We are proud to be connected to initiatives like this, helping to spotlight the urgency and the real opportunities ahead. Closing the $4.8 billion financing gap will require strategic tools — from blended finance to green bonds — to unlock investment and bring innovation to scale. Bangladesh’s success can ignite systemic change across the global apparel industry and beyond. Let’s keep building momentum together. #decarbonization #innovation #sustainableapparel #textilewaste #valuechain #blendedfinance #greenbonds #circulareconomy Gonzalo Muñoz Abogabir CMG Nigel Topping, CMG Jacinda Njike Paula Guerra Nicolás B. With the apparel sector driving over 80% of exports, Bangladesh is positioned to lead global decarbonization efforts - and unlock substantial economic and social benefits along the way. That’s why Aii (in collaboration with Development Finance International, Inc.) created a new report, “Landscape and Opportunities to Finance the Decarbonization of Bangladesh's Apparel Manufacturing Sector,” offering a roap to cut industry GHG emissions in half by 2030. Key highlights: 🔹$6.6 billion investment is needed to achieve a 50% reduction in GHG emissions across Bangladesh’s apparel and textile industry 🔹 $1.6 billion is already available through 12 credit lines and revolving funding schemes 🔹 An additional $175 million is anticipated from international and local financial institutions, leaving a $4.8 billion gap. 🔹Tools like blended finance, green bonds, and pay-for-performance models are essential to catalyze the adoption of low-carbon technologies. 🔹Other barriers - including limited technical expertise, underdeveloped energy policies, and costly infrastructure upgrades - could be solved by high-impact, cost-effective interventions. Read the full report to learn how Aii’s Climate Solution Portfolio is helping suppliers overcome these challenges and how you can help accelerate industry-wide decarbonization. https://lnkd.in/gQvznCsi #decarbonization #sustainableapparel #valuechain #blendedfinance #greenbonds
