In 2024, the global network of German Centres for Research and Innovation (DWIHs) explored the complexity of artificial intelligence as its central theme. One year on, the team at DWIH São Paulo looks back at the highlights of the past year. Resilience was a recurring theme across the Centre’s initiatives, reinforcing the role of dialogue in addressing future challenges. 🤝 Great news for Brazilian-German academic cooperation! CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation have renewed their cooperation agreement until 2030, ensuring continued for Brazilian postdoctoral researchers in . Since the programme began in 2013, over 280 Brazilian scholars have benefited from Capes-Humboldt fellowships. The programme offers two tracks: for early-career postdocs (PhD obtained within the last four years) and for experienced researchers (PhD within the last 12 years). Two selection rounds are held annually. The current call opened on 2 June and runs until 28 November. The expanded partnership will fund three new calls for postdoctoral fellowships in , with a new call expected later this year.
